New Year's Party Hat Family Craft: A Fun and Festive Project

As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome in the new, celebrating with a fun DIY project can add a personal touch to your New Year’s Eve festivities. One simple and creative way to get into the holiday spirit is by crafting your own New Year's party hats! Not only will these hats make your celebration more festive, but they’re also a great activity for kids and adults alike.

Materials Needed:

• Party Hat Template
• Scissors
• Glitter, stickers, or sequins
• Glue or tape
• Yarn, Ribbon or Elastic Cord
• Crayons, markers or colored pencils
• Construction Paper

Instructions:

1. Color and cut the template
2. Decorate your cone with glitter, sequins, and any embellishments that catch your eye.
3. Make a fringed topper and glue to your hat.  
4. Attach a ribbon or elastic band to keep the hat securely on your head.
