Baby Storytime Lesson Plan Outline
This week's storytime is all about babies!
We will be reading "Twinkle, Twinkle" by Jane Cabrera, which features an extended version of the classic rhyme.
Bill Martin's "Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What do You see?" had a chant-like rhythm, perfect for babies. I like to use the over-sized edition. The extra large, colorful images will draw in even the littlest ones.
"Baby Bumble Bee" is a classic rhyme from my childhood that I love to share! The silly words and fun hand motions make for a memorable action song.
As always, I've planned songs for scarves, shakers, a puppet version of "Old MacDonald" and a sweet goodbye song.
Enjoy this outline in your library, classroom, or at home!
Happy Planning!
