Storytime Outline/Lesson Plan: Animals

 This week at baby storytime, we are learning all about animals! This theme can be adapted for pets, jungle animals, farm animals, and more. So grab your favorite books featuring cute critters!

This storytime outline features one of my favorite rhymes: "5 Dogs." You can use finger puppets, or flannel cut outs to act it out. 

"5 dogs, 5 dogs running all round,

Mama says it's bedtime

so 1 lays down"

Continue the rhyme with 4 dogs, then 3,2,1 etc. 

At the end you can say:

"1 dog, 1 dog running all around

Mama says it's bedtime

so they all laid down!

Goodnight!"
