Candle Making Workshop Library Programming Lesson Plan and Outline - Free Printable

 

May is a wonderful time for a candle workshop. If weather permits, this would be fun to do outside!

First, everyone chooses a candle container. I had tins and glass available. Then, participants choose their scent and color. I came by and poured the hot wax. Then the teens stirred until everything was well combined with the melted wax.

Next, they place their wicks and we colored while waiting for the wax to harden. The whole workshop was about 45 minutes.
