November is the time of year to practice gratitude. I like to focus my storytime on being thankful for friend and family. This is a great opportunity to explore different types of families. We can also bring to light how to be a good friend. 

I love reading "We are Family," by Todd Parr and "Grandma's Tiny House," by JaNay Brown-Wood. There is nothing better than the joy and comfort family and friends bring.
