Thanksgiving Storytime Rhyme: Little Turkey
This little rhyme is great for thanksgiving. For my babies, I give them the turkey craft pre-made. For older kiddos, you can make the craft together. Just cut and glue a picture of a turkey onto a popsicle stick. You can print out a picture of a turkey or you can do a classic handprint, with the fingers as feathers and the thumb as the body and head. Either way, my library kids love to have there own little puppet for this rhyme.
One Little Turkey
One little turkey,
One little turkey,
One little turkey, flap, flap, flap.
Put your turkey up,
Put your turkey down,
Put it on your (name a body part: head, arm, nose, etc).
Use this free printable in the library, at home, or in the classroom.
Happy Rhyming!
