Science Observation

This fun activity works any day of the year. 

My 6-year-old and I went outside and observed a desert willow tree in our front yard. It was green and brown, tall and skinny with droopy branches. It was taller than our house! The texture of the bark was rough. Trees and plants are living things.

My kid loved getting out side and making discoveries. Even getting him to write things down was not a fight because he was excited to document his observations like a real scientist!
