Cherry Blossoms Family Craft
The cherry blossom is the national flower of Japan. It represents renewal and optimism. Blooming in late March or early April, Sakura is a wonderful symbol of spring.
Kids will first cover the page of flowers with tissue paper scraps, using a glue stick. Then they will cut out the flowers, and paste them to the tree.
This versatile activity can be combined with a lesson on the life cycle of plants, or a story of spring time.
