Storytime Outline: Exploring Nature

I love to encourage our storytime kiddos to explore in nature.
I often give "homework" that asks them to take a walk outside. Consider printing a worksheet for families to take home. (See links below). You can offer and stamp or sticker if they bring the sheet to the next storytime.

In this week's storytime we will read "Tap The Magic Tree" and "Silly Sally"
Our rhyme "Way Up High in the Apple Tree" lets kids get their wiggles out, while practicing spoken word, memorization, and phonetic rhymes, all of which promote early literacy.

As always, this outline includes a full list of songs. Using shakers and scarves helps kids with gross motor and fine motor skills.

I hope you enjoy this free printable!

Happy Planning!
