Storytime Outline: Seasons - Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall
This week's storytime theme is SEASONS! We will be learning about winter, spring, summer, and fall.
"Hap-Pea All Year!" by Keith Baker is a great introduction to months for little ones. Learn the names of the months and discuss the weather for each one.
In "I Went Walking" by Sue Williams, a child's stroll through a farmyard reveals a menagerie of colorful animals-a black cat, a brown horse, a red cow. Point out the scenery and discuss which season it might be.
Our rhyme, "5 Little Speckled Frogs" can be chanted or sung. This one is perfect for a flannel glove. Just print and cut five frogs, one frog per finger!
As always, we will be using our scarves and egg shakers.
I hope you enjoy this outline and find it useful in your storytime!
Happy Planning!
