How to Draw and Color Water: Free Printable Worksheet
This year, I have been obsessed with coloring!
To increase my skills, I created these free printable worksheet to help master the tricker parts of coloring.
This worksheet focuses on water. I grew up with a swimming pool in the backyard and was always mesmerized by the unique shapes that danced across the water's surface. Capturing that magic is easier than it looks!
First, choose at least 2 colors. You can make green swampy water, bright blue pool water, dark and muddy lake water or even magical pink unicorn water! Any colors work for this project! You will also need a white gel pen or paint pen.
Start with a wash of color using the lightest color in your palette. Then add darker blobs. The key to great blobs is to try to leave an even squiggle-line of space between the blobs.
Then finally, add white crossing wiggle lines over the entire area.
And just like that, you colored water!
Keep an eye out for 2 more upcoming coloring worksheets: leaves and clouds.
Happy Coloring!
